'Tis OK. The fact that I'm a vegan took me down a few notches in my SA-ness.
Then there were more points I inevitably lost due to having lived in Sydney for the last nine years.

Why do South Australian's hate Victorians?! My mum, boyfriend, grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins are all South Aussies and they like me :(

some of them had never ever been to SA and some of them hadn't been for over 20 years. it was just rude.
having said that it all settled down. i think SA is just an easier target..
but sydney is worse :P

It's like the rivalry that used to (and may still) exist between Victoria and NSW, with NSW bragging that Canberra is located in what geographically was NSW, hence NSW numberplates having "NSW The Premier State" on them.
Hope this helped :)

my living history goes as such...
vic/qld/nsw/qld/vic/sa
as much as people bag out SA i think it's a good place to bring up kids.
I do miss melb sometimes - for the shopping and better public transport system and trams that are actually... trams :P
